Pamela de Brí is a visual artist exploring social and demographic changes in Ireland. She is interested in Irish cultural and environmental landscape, and how objects and images from the past embody cultural memory and characterise the future. Her overall philosophy is that art should have a relevance to the society from which it evolves.
Pamela works with a variety of media including painting, printmaking, photography, and video.She has exhibited across Ireland and as far afield as Australia. Her works are held in the collections of Irish Rail, Kildare Co. Council Municipal Collection, Phelan Prescott Accountants and in private collections in Ireland, England, France, Spain, Bermuda and Australia.
Her current project explores Ireland's offshore islands.
