Jim Fitzpatrick is one of the most celebrated and internationally known Irish artists of his generation: his ornate, colourful and intensely decorative Celtic artwork is now so well-known and unique that it is instantly recognisable. Working as an artist for over sixty years, he has produced artwork for musicians such as Thin Lizzy, Sinéad O'Connor, The Darkness, Norwegian black metal band Darkthrone and Louise Patricia Crane. In 2007 he was commissioned by CityJet to create images reflecting Ireland's culture, mythology, history and landscapes.

Perhaps his most famous piece is his iconic two-tone portrait of Che Guevara created in 1968 and based on a photo by Alberto Korda.
